MADISON, Wis. — The Filene Research Institute is now accepting applications for new members of its i3 innovation group.
Filene created the i3 program to enhance the level of innovation in the credit union industry and to harness innovative ideas for the industry.
The group's objectives include identifying and evaluating recent credit union innovations which meet member needs, building member loyalty and enhancing credit union effectiveness; developing and implementing new innovative ideas which address major issues and opportunities facing credit unions; identifying and evaluating innovations in other organizations which could be adopted by credit unions; and providing a forum of cooperation, professional development and industry succession planning.

Reflecting a diversity in experiences, the group is looking for innovative, insightful and energetic credit union professionals who have not yet reached the CEO level, but are in a position with substantial responsibility.
"The i3 process encourages ideas to grow through open source innovation said Filene Chief Innovation Officer Denise Gabel. "This process allows each stake holder in an idea to make a contribution."
To apply, candidates need to complete an i3 application and obtain two letters of reference; submit the application to Filene by June 30; and complete an online behavioral survey.
