MEDFORD, Ore. — With the help of a few puppet friends Rogue Federal Credit Union is hoping to make financial literacy fun and engaging for its youngest members.

The Money Mammals, a live puppetry performance is designed to teach money management through humor and upbeat songs essentially teaching the principles to "Share & Save & Spend Smart Too!" It will also feature special information for parents offering them tips on how to teach their children about the value of money.

"Most money experts agree that you should start teaching kids about money as soon as they can count. The Money Mammals help kids ages two to eight learn about the value of money with super-catchy songs and engaging characters. Entertainment infused with characters that kids want to emulate is a terrific way to promote essential good money habits to kids," said RFCU Community and Education Outreach Coordinator Kerrie Davis. "We are really excited about bringing this award winning program to the valley."
