ARLINGTON, Va. — USA Credit Union (Troy, Mich.) President/CEO Mary McDonald has been appointed to NASCUS' Credit Union Advisory Council, Council Chairman Mendell Thompson, president/CEO of America's Christian Credit Union in Glendora, Calif., announced last week.
McDonald will fill Jo Anne Fillwock's seat after she left the board in early December and retired from the credit union system at year-end. Fillwock served as president/CEO of Option 1 Credit Union in Lansing, Mich.
"NASCUS and the Credit Union Advisory Council Board welcome Mary," Thompson said. "We look forward to involving her in NASCUS' important work to strengthen the state charter and preserve dual chartering."

McDonald has been at USA Credit Union for 34 years, serving in the corner office since March 2001. She has also been a board member of the Michigan Council of the Credit Union Executives Society and an alternate board member of the Michigan Credit Union League.
