ARLINGTON, Va. — Employees at Arlington Virginia Federal Credit Union banded together this holiday season to collect new linens for the local charity Arlingtonians Meeting Emergency Needs.
A staff "Pajama Party" was thrown during non-business hours to encourage everyone to get in the spirit of helping AMEN transition the homeless into apartment living in Arlington.
This year, AVFCU staffers donated 31 new pillows, 27 new sheet sets, and 23 new towel sets in addition to a variety of gently used home furnishings.

"Our staff here at AVFCU took on this community outreach project with AMEN with such gusto and it is really heartwarming to see my colleagues give so graciously to the community we serve."
