EAST HARTFORD, Conn. — American Eagle Federal Credit Union and The South End Residents Merchants Cooperative, Inc., joined forces this holiday season to provide 25 complete Christmas dinners to South End neighbors in need. According to Rob Zaccardelli, president of The South End Residents Merchants Cooperative, Inc., this is the 13th year the Cooperative has provided dinners to area residents and the 11th year American Eagle FCU has provided monetary and volunteer support. "American Eagle Federal Credit Union enjoys making Christmas brighter for friends in the South End neighborhood," said AEFCU President/CEO William J. Dokas. "American Eagle will continue to work with The South End Residents Merchants Cooperative, Inc. to improve and promote a strong sense of community and a better quality of life in the South End of East Hartford."
