SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — Forty credit union professionals turned out for Members Business Services' first user group meeting.

Larry Sharp, president/CEO of $1 billion Arrowhead Credit Union, opened the daylong event with an overview on the evolution of the business banking relationship. This was followed by topics on remote and merchant capture and new enhancements from Precision Computer Systems, a business banking technology provider. The event also included breakout sessions on broker relationships, marketing ideas, SBA training, checking account analysis, business development and branch sales.

"The breakout sessions and the panel discussion were great for our clients to talk about what works, sharing information so that each credit union does not have to reinvent the wheel," said Denise Mattice, MBS senior vice president/chief administrative officer. "Each credit union has a different level of experience with commercial relationships, we are pleased to be able to bring each of the credit union's strengths to the table and share with the group."
