Pen Air Federal Credit Union, Pensacola, Fla., presented $8,000 to the Escambia County Sheriff's Department to show its gratitude for the efforts of those who acted quickly to distribute emergency supplies throughout the community and for providing added security to get offices operational after the hurricanes of 2004 and 2005. The funds will be set aside to buy supplies, food and water for their "community kitchen" for the upcoming hurricane season.
