CEDAR FALS, Iowa – Iowa Community Credit Union CEO Mark Heth has been elected chairman of the Iowa Credit Union League. "I am honored to serve as the chairman of the Iowa Credit Union League," said Heth. "There are many new, exciting initiatives taking place at the League and I look forward to working with credit unions, the board and staff to ensure these initiatives are carried out successfully." Heth became the president/CEO of Iowa Community Credit Union in 1986. Prior to his current position, he was a consultant for the Iowa Credit Union League. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Northern Iowa as well as an MBA from St. Ambrose University. Heth became a Certified Credit Union Executive in 1989 and has numerous other professional achievements. He served on the CUES Board of Directors from 1996-2005. In 2003, Heth was inducted into the CUES Hall of Fame. He has served on various League committees as well as the board since 1989. He currently serves on the CUPAC Board of Trustees and as Principle Key Contact for Senator Grassley.
