SCHENECTADY, N.Y. – Sunmark Federal Credit Union and the Schenectady Municipal Housing Authority have helped some 29 area residents build their financial literacy portfolio.

The residents recently successfully completed a three-week program in financial literacy, which was designed to help tenants improve their financial well being by laying the foundation for responsible financial behavior.

"We are extremely pleased with the participation of SMHA residents in our financial literacy program," said Sunmark FCU Business Development Executive Rachel Zimolka. "We look forward to continued success for the program and will continue our mission of providing financial literacy assistance to benefit our communities."
