WASHINGTON-The Federal Reserve Board announced last week that its Consumer Advisory Council will meet March 30. Items on the agenda, time permitting, include home equity lending hearings, nontraditional mortgage products, Electronic Fund Transfer Act/Regulation E interim final rule, and Truth in Lending Act/Regulation Z. The meeting is open to the public but pre-registration is required for security purposes. The council advises the Fed Board on its responsibilities under various consumer financial services laws and on other matters on which the Board seeks its advice.
