WASHINGTON – Federal law enforcement Oct. 27 announced the formation of a task force to investigate and prosecute mortgage fraud. The task force will include representatives of the U.S. attorney's office, the FBI, the IRS, the U.S. Postal Service and other agencies. Officials said forming the task force will allow them to share information and focus more resources on mortgage fraud.
