WASHINGTON-Three CUNA publications, as well as NAFCU's chair, are going to receive awards from the Society of National Association Publications. CUNA's Credit Union Executive Newsletter won a gold award for "the most improved newsletter" category; Credit Union NewsWatch received a bronze award in the "most improved newsletter" category; and Anytime Adviser won a bronze award in the "online publishing Web site – "general excellence" category. NAFCU Board Chair Diane Furnas won the award for her bi-monthly column, "From the Chair," featured in The Federal Credit Union, the trade group's bi-monthly publication. Furnas' winning column was entitled "I Want What I Want When I Want It." Winners were selected from a record 1,130 entries this year.
