JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Rosie Holub, president/CEO, Missouri CU Association testified April 25 before the Missouri State Government Review Commission and shared her opinions with the Commission on possible enhancements to the credit union regulatory process and overall enhancements in the Department of Economic Development. Holub was invited to testify by Commission co-chairs Stephen Bradford and Warren Erdman. The MCUA leader told Commission members of "Possible cost-savings and efficiencies that could be realized by the DED encompass several areas.Missouri has lost opportunities to other contiguous states such as Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas. "There are several enhancements that would assist in expanding business investment in Missouri, including simplifying programs, streamlining the application, review and approval processes, meaningful incentives, and comparing best practices of competing states," Holub stated.
