WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Based on Credit Union Times' listing of credit union association meetings in the Nov. 3 issue (also available at www.cutimes.com), it's clear that credit unions have more options than ever when it comes to conferences. Late last month CUNA's Future Forum saw increased attendance. This week some 500 credit union leaders are expected to attend BAI's Retail Delivery Conference. So what is it about a conference that draws attendees? Is it the agenda? Is it the location? Is it the focus? Or is it simply the power of the conference sponsor? This leads to Credit Union Times' latest online voting poll question. The question is as follows: What is the most important factor you consider when deciding to attend a conference? * Location * Program (agenda, exhibit hall, etc.) * Sponsoring organization (CUNA, NAFCU, BAI, etc.) * Price * Primary theme (technology, politics, financial, combination of, etc.)
