WASHINGTON, D.C. – Credit unions can go to the source – their members – to find out how to improve and grow the Internet loan application channel in the latest project by Callahan & Associates' Survey Consortium. The survey – comprising 15 brief questions – will be placed by participating credit unions on their Web sites for a limited period beginning later this month. Questions will include why a member might have abandoned an online application in the past and what a credit union can do to convince members to try applying online, said Scott Patterson, Callahan's vice president for e-commerce. Participating credit unions then will have an opportunity to share ideas for increasing use of online applications and able to benchmark their online loan application performance against others in the survey group. To participate or for more information, call (800) 446-7453 or visit www.CreditUnions.com.
