SAN DIMAS, Calif. – Attendees at the Financial Service Center Cooperative's 2004 conference will hear from a former coach and a futurist, the credit union shared branching network said. The conference will be held June 13 – 15, 2004, at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The former coach is Herman Boone, subject of the inspirational Disney movie, "Remember the Titans." The futurist is Bob Treadway, a business forecaster. Boone is now retired but continues to motivate and inspire audiences with presentations on respect, teamwork, community involvement and the importance of character, among others, FSCC said. Treadway, a business forecaster, is a returning speaker to the conference and spoke at 2003′s annual meeting. "He really wowed our audience," says Martha Aragon, FSCC Marketing Manager. "We were delighted he could come back again this year." In addition to headline speakers, the conference agenda covers a wide range of topics including: What Members Want to Know About Share Branching, Uncovering Strategic Resources, and Mining the Gold at Home -Using Shared Branching to Improve Profitability, FSCC said.
