For the past four years Patrick Glossenger has been leading a double life – River Bend Federal Credit Union President by day and werewolf by night. To the delight of local residents Glossenger "terrorizes" visitors to the Niles (Illinois) Haunted House Scream Park 22 nights a year. Glossenger is not only a main attraction as a werewolf, but also takes care of the "cemetery swamp" area and helps build a new Haunted House each Halloween season on about 44 acres of land. "It has been a therapy of sorts for me," said Glossenger. "And it is lots of fun – almost like putting on a Broadway or theater production for some 80,000 people." Glossenger says proceeds from the Haunted House Scream Park are donated to about 50 local volunteer groups and charitable organizations. [email protected]
