DALLAS – TNB Card Services, a division of the credit union owned Town North Bank, and Credit Union Resources, Inc, the services division of the Texas Credit Union League, have paired up to offer small credit unions access to credit card programs through an agent program. Under the arrangement, the small credit unions will sign an agent agreement with TNB Card Services under which TNB would own and, to a great extent, manage the accounts while the credit union would be able to offer its members access to credit cards. It allows the credit union to be a more full-service institution, without having or requiring any additional personnel or added expense, Credit Union Resources said. The program should be available sometime this spring, the firm added.
