BEAVERTON, Ore. – The Credit Union Association of Oregon has promoted Kasey Rockwell to Director of Credit Union Advocacy. She will focus on various legislative and political activities programs such as the CU Advocate program, Project Differentiation, Project Zip Code, and the many events produced by the CUAO Governmental Affairs Department. Rockwell has been with CUAO since 1999 as a compliance officer. Prior to joining CUAO, she spent 11 years at First Tech Credit Union where she held various positions and was instrumental in establishing the employee Political Action Committee in 1997. For two years, Rockwell also served as secretary of the board for the Oregon Council for Youth and Family Education, and she is now involved with the Credit Unions for Kids campaign. In 2000, Rockwell received the Credit Union Development Educator designation.
