SAN FRANCISCO – In response to the Enron situation, the Steele Foundation has launched an Ethics Hotline service that will serve as an independent source to report corruption or inconsistencies. The service will focus on education, prevention and investigation. A toll-free number is provided and those who report cases of unethical behavior are guaranteed anonymity.In addition to the telephone hotline, Steele offers clients an intranet portal for their employees to send electronic messages anonymously or they can view educational material and answers to frequently asked questions.
