We are in support of the Community Action Plan. As a credit union employee I see first hand how our efforts and concerns help the less fortunate. We do not turn away members in time of hardship -we go out of our way to help them. Over and over again Central Minnesota Federal Credit Union has helped underprivileged people in times of need. A recent instance that stands out in my mind is when a member was in my office requesting funds to repair her vehicle. Had we not helped her she would not have had transportation, and this could have resulted in her losing her job as well as her only income. She was so grateful to the CU for their help and continues to be loyal to the CU as we were to her. Instances like this are what set us apart from other financial institutions.
