The NAFCU Board will make the trip to Washington again this year to visit with the governors of the Federal Reserve Board and talk credit unions.

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development endorsed 6,375 reverse mortgages in July and 62,034 through the first 10 months of FY 2006. FHA endorsed 43,131 loans for all of FY 2005. Year-to-date totals represent an 85% increase over the 33,543 loans endorsed during the same period last year.
