A Texas-based grassroots campaign to support the military and called "AdoptaPlatoon," is finding a Fort Worth credit union a major CU booster and winning praise this week for shipping supplies and letters to U.S. soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Interstate Unlimited Federal Credit Union of Jesup, Ga. and Utilities Employees Credit Union of Sinking Spring, Pa. were among nine financial institutions honored yesterday by the Department of Treasury for their exceptional results with the agency's Go Direct campaign.
