While credit unions under $50 million in assets have consistently reported a decline in membership, some billion dollar cooperatives continue to experience a decrease as well.

Credit Union Student Choice, a provider of student lending services, announced today that Genisys Credit Union in Auburn Hills, Mich., TruMark Financial Credit Union in Trevose, Pa., and Georgia's Own Credit Union in Atlanta have partnered with the CUSO.

The Senate is expected to break its impasse on a small business lending bill--which includes a $30 billion fund to encourage community bank lending--but without a provision to raise the cap on member business loans from 12.25% to 27.5% of assets.
