Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU), based in Oklahoma City, has officially expanded into Texas following its recent merger with LiFE Federal Credit Union (LiFE FCU). The merger, finalized on May 19, marked a significant step in TFCU’s strategic growth and commitment to serving more communities across state lines.

The former LiFE FCU branch in Cross Roads, Texas, is now operating under the TFCU banner, and renovations are already underway for a new branch in Denton, expected to open this summer. All LiFE FCU accounts, services and staff have transitioned to TFCU, allowing for continuity in member services and operations.

“We are thrilled to welcome the new members from LiFE FCU to the TFCU family,” Dave Willis, president/CEO at TFCU, said. “As we come together through this merger, we want them to know how excited we are to serve and be part of their financial journey.”

LiFE FCU employees have joined the TFCU team and will continue delivering the same trusted service. Members can still use their existing checks and cards while TFCU completes system integration.

Established in 1946, TFCU serves 472,962 members and holds more than $6.1 billion in assets.

This expansion further supports TFCU’s mission to empower its members through financial education, community engagement and personalized services in both Oklahoma and Texas.
