Jeramey Litzman, Associated Credit Union of Texas: U.S. Army Veteran Jeramey Litzman has helped drive digital strategy at Associated Credit Union of Texas ($542.7 million in assets; 41,922 members). He is a key leader in the credit union's multiyear digital transformation plan that is consolidating all digital channels and services into a more cohesive and user-friendly platform for both members and staff. Litzman's digital-first approach has focused on acquiring new members, improving member experience and implementing new loan origination software, as well as enhancing digital banking and launching a digital referral program. His efforts have both reduced costs and improved the tech stack of the credit union. Litzman is responsible for all digital services and channels including video banking, text channels, online and mobile banking, conversational IVR, and chat bots. Under his leadership, digital banking adoption has increased to more than 55% of membership, and 72% of all credit union communication is handled digitally.
We are pleased to continue our presentation of the LUMINARIES Class of 2022 Finalists, who are being recognized this year for the many dynamic and inclusive ways they are driving the credit union industry forward. The finalists were selected by our editorial team from stellar nominations submitted in four main award categories: Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Executive Leadership, Innovation in Technology and Product Innovation. This slideshow highlights the eight finalists from our special category, Rising Stars. This is a group of people who have picked up the torch to lead the credit union system in new ways and with new ideas. These are people focused on pushing the boundaries to develop solutions benefitting the entire credit union industry. The LUMINARIES Class of 2022 Finalists recently were reviewed by a diverse panel of judges from across the credit union industry, and a select group of winners will be announced on stage at the program's first awards dinner and gala — set to take place Nov. 9 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington, D.C.

His background includes years as a radio and TV anchor/reporter and a public relations and digital/social media manager, where he covered the food and music industries, as well as cooperatives and credit unions. Over the years, he has launched numerous exclusive video and podcast series, including a successful series of interactive backstage interviews with musicians at music festivals, showcasing his social media and live streaming production skills.
