A Minneapolis-area CUSO changed its name to The Servion GroupJan. 1 to better reflect its emphasis on service and to make itsidentity standout better online.

When three Minnesota credit unions formed CU Companies in 1987,it focused on helping its owners pool resources to offer mortgages,and later created a correspondent channel for financialinstitutions to sell mortgages to the secondary market.

Over the years, the CUSO's ownership has grown to 60 Minnesotacredit unions. It now has 200 employees serving more than 300financial institutions across the country. Its services have grownto include mortgage, title, realty, financial advisory, andcommercial loan resources.
