William Kennedy was named president/CEO of the $45.3 million HUDFederal Credit Union in Washington. D.C., last week.

He succeeded President/CEO Lee Hancock who retired after 33years of service. Kennedy's appointment was effective July 17.

Kennedy most recently served as manager of finance andaccounting for the $927 million Wright Patman Congressional Federal CreditUnion in Oakton, Va.

He also held executive positions with the $179 million DOIFederal Credit Union in Washington, D.C., the $147 million JerseyShore Federal Credit Union in Northfield, N.J., the (inactive) SCFFederal Credit Union in Columbia, S.C., and the Central FloridaPostal Credit Union, which was renamed the $69.1 million PriorityCredit Union in Orlando.
