Stanley R. Swenson, Jr., president/CEO for the $1 billion Northrop Grumman Federal Credit Union in Gardena, Calif., retired March 31. Swenson began his career at the then Northrop Credit Union in May 1979, serving as assistant general manager and controller. He then became president/CEO in May 1982, becoming the fourth and longest tenured leader of the credit union since its inception in 1946. Matthew Herbert replaced Swenson as president/CEO effective April 1. This made Herbert the fifth leader of NGFCU since its inception in 1946.

Michelle Poturich, a 10-year professional in the investment services industry, joined the $979 million Oregon State Credit Union in Corvallis, Ore., as a CUSO Financial Services financial advisor. Poturich came to Oregon State Credit Union from San Diego, where she developed a strong track record of building relationships and working to provide solutions to members for more than a decade as a financial advisor and regional investment platform manager.
