||New York Timesbest-selling author, researcher, motivational speaker and businessconsultant Marcus Buckingham's opening keynote focused onleveraging people's strengths in order to free them up to do theirbest work.
|Dan Berger, president/CEO of NAFCU,shared an update from Washington. Berger reminded the crowd thatcredit unions can be some of the best lobbyists out there, and thatit is important to share stories with members of Congress aboutpeople helping people. Other news and updates included the latestfrom the legislative, regulatory, economic, compliance andpolitical fronts.
||Sedric Cherry, vice president ofcredit union learning, demonstrated PSCU's MemberConnect 2.0 at theexpo portion of the Member Forum event. He also discussed the valueof improving the overall member experience through a well-trainedstaff that is educated on the details of a credit union's programs,services and operations. The session also highlighted how to buildeffective training programs to improve staff knowledge and how tokeep training costs down.
||Jon Gruden, former NFL SuperBowl-winning head coach and current ESPN commentator, closed outthe CUSO's annual conference by inspiring attendees to harnesspassion to help achieve greater success, on and off the field.
