|

Janelle Kaczmarek was appointed chief financialofficer of the $176 million NET Credit Union inOlyphant, Pa. She holds 28 years of experience in the financialservices industry and previously served as a director of internalaudit for a savings association.

The $405 million People's Credit Union inMiddletown, R.I. promoted Jane McDurman to vicepresident of retail and member experience. Prior to joiningPeople's 2012, she served as vice president of retail operations atthe Community Bank in Brockton, Mass. She also worked for FleetBank and the New Bedford Institution for Savings.

Dennis Flickinger will retire at the end of themonth after 26 years of service as president/CEO of the $163million First Capital Federal Credit Union inYork, Pa. Before joining First Capital in January 1990, he workedin financial management for the U.S. Army for 21 years. Theboard of directors and senior managers announced the board room andthe credit union's scholarship program were named in Flickinger'shonor.

The $6.1 billion Bethpage Federal CreditUnion in Bethpage, N.Y. appointed DerekGussaroff as a mortgage loan originator for outsidesales. He previously served as a mortgage loan originator forNew Penn Financial in Melville, N.Y.

Patti Columbe, treasurer/CEO of the $16.4million Keystone United Methodist Federal CreditUnion will retire at the end of the month. Since takingthe helm of the Cranberry Township, Pa.-based credit union inJanuary 2000, she helped increase membership by 40%, and in 2003,she secured a new charter from a clergy-only charter to one thatopened the cooperative to serve all United Methodist churchmembers.

Barb Bowker, vice president of marketing andmembership development for the $4.3 billion PSECUin Harrisburg, was elected to the Pennsylvania Chamber of Businessand Industry board of directors. The statewide associationadvocates for public policy issues that will expand private sectorjob creation.

MIDWEST

|

The $391 million Security Credit Union inFlint, Mich. promoted Butch King from assistantvice president of real estate and loss prevention to assistant vicepresident of lending. He joined the SCU team in 2013 as a lossprevention manager.

Jon Seeman, chief financial officer for the$801 million SPIRE Credit Union in Falcon Heights,Minn. was awarded the CFO of the Year award by theMinneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. Under Seeman'sleadership, several key changes were implemented to build SPIRE'scapital position, and his efforts, in conjunction with a merger,improved the credit union's financials.

The $2.7 billion Veridian Credit Union inWaterloo, Iowa hired Merideth Bixler as a mortgageloan underwriter. She previously served as a senior mortgage loanunderwriter at the $3.1 billion University of IowaCommunity Credit Union in North Liberty.

SOUTH

|

Clay Thompson was promoted to executive vicepresident and chief operating officer of the $572 millionGenerations Federal Credit Union in San Antonio,Texas. He has served as the credit union's chief lending officersince 2014.

Greg Inman was named chief operations officer ofthe $724 million Neighbors Federal Credit Union in Baton Rouge, La.He has served as the credit union's senior vice president of retailoperations since 2009.

Lauren Whaley was appointed executive directorof the Carolinas Credit Union Foundation inKernersville, N.C. She previously served as vice president ofgovernmental affairs at the Carolinas Credit Union League.

The $2.9 billion Northwest Federal Credit Unionin Herndon, Va. announced that it hired AlexzandraShade as the executive director of the NorthwestFederal Credit Union Foundation. Shade comes to thefoundation with more than 10 years of philanthropic experienceincluding fundraising, partnership development and mentorship at avariety of charitable organizations.

Steve Harkins, president/CEO of the $294million SC Telco Federal Credit Union inGreenville, S.C. was named one of the top 20 mostinfluential leaders in upstate South Carolina by GSABusiness Journal, a publication serving senior-level decisionmakers. Under Harkin's leadership, SC Telco FCU was named a2014 Best Place to Work in a statewidecompetition by the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce.

|

Christine Basford joined the $1.5 billionElevations Credit Union in Boulder, Colo. as amortgage sales manager. She worked at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage for22 years and most recently served as sales manager.

After serving 23 years as a member of the board of directors forthe $616 million Christian Community Credit Unionin San Dimas, Calif., Dr. Eduardo Font retiredearlier this year. He served on various credit union committeesincluding the Missions & Ministries Committee and the SeniorLoan Committee.
