Malcolm "Ed" Culpepper, 68, who served as president/CEO for the Arizona Credit Union League from 1984 to 1992, died on Nov. 13.

"Ed Culpepper was well loved and served our Arizona credit unions with passion and heart," Scott Earl, president/CEO of the Mountain West Credit Union Association, stated. "Our thoughts are with his wife, Pat, and their family at this difficult time."

Culpepper's credit union industry career spanned 42 years. He also served in the Tennessee National Guard.

Funeral services were held Nov. 15 at the Caughman-Harman Funeral Home in Lexington, S.C.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Patricia Culpepper; two sons, Chad (Tina) Culpepper and Blake Culpepper; as well as four grandchildren, Tristin, Gavin, Hayden and Hailee; and one brother, Leonard Culpepper.
