I wonder if their employment policies include drug testing. And I would be very interested in their philosophical stance on Operation Choke Point.

Unfortunately, this type of thinking is prevalent in top management circles. Top management either does not understand the impact or they are more motivated for the bottom line impact [in the] short term. What top management fails to understand [is] that in the long run, the bottom line impact has a greater impact. In addition to a bottom line impact, the review of top management's decision process is seriously questioned. This will never be the correct way – always question top management's decision abilities.

This looks like crooks suing anyone they can under any context possible to delay their inevitable capture. Really? A government conspiracy? This is the silliest nonsense since "chemtrails." So they allege that an executive of a financial institution for over a decade and former auditor is "unqualified?" How does that even make sense? And I wonder why CU Times has been after Sarah Moore since the day she was appointed.

Studies and good sense have shown that a longer payback period is key to the affordability of a short term (payday-like) loan. This is the time credit unions should shine! We've seen the closest payday lenders to us close. You want to make an impression on Congress as to how important credit unions are? Take a whack at helping the underserved (and a big THANK YOU to those who already are)! Does your credit union serve mostly the overserved? I bet there are lots of underserved and underbanked in your FOM or community who could use your help. If you offer it, they will accept… and be in a better financial position because of the "credit union difference" you've made in their lives. Need help getting started? Ask a credit union like ours that's already helping. All I can tell you is: "Come on in, the water's fine!"
