Telecommuting continues to gain popularity among U.S. employers.

According to Workspot, an enterprise software provider, nearly 85% of Americans work from home more than once a month. Also, close to 25% of employees telecommute every week and more than 40% of U.S. companies have implemented some type of telecommuting policy.

Yet despite its increasing popularity, misconceptions persist about the benefits of telecommuting.
