Ten credit unions have signed up to participate in a service that allows them to ensure their members only have to enter the dealership once to buy a new or used car, according to CU Direct.

The Ontario, Calif.-based lending CUSO characterized its AutoPREMIER service as a concierge program that will help credit unions close more auto loans and help them stand out in the competitive auto lending market.

Members of participating credit unions that choose to partake in the program will meet with an AutoPREMIER team, who will help them choose the right car and locate it though CU Direct's network of affiliated dealers, according to CU Direct Communications Lead Bill Meyer. In addition, Meyer explained that the auto dealership sets the price so the member can experience a no-haggle, no-hassle buying experience.
