The ice cream man looks a little different this year.
This summer, locals have been able to indulge their ice cream cravings for free, courtesy of Vibrant Credit Union.
The $501 million, East Moline, Ill.-based credit union has taken the banking reimagined tagline to heart with an ice cream truck that delivers free ice cream to different communities throughout the summer.

Ice cream lovers can track where the truck will be by using Vibrant's Twitter account. Locals can also book the ice cream truck for community and charitable events.

Providing free ice cream has been just one of the many ways the credit union stays connected with communitiy members. Three new branches were opened in 2015, and plans are underway to expand with two to three more locations each year for the foreseeable future.
