“Since the beginning of my term, I have held 18 listeningsessions and 11 webinars so that NCUA officials can hear from credit unions, volunteers andother interested stakeholders,” Matz said. “The webinars allowanyone in the credit union system to make suggestions and raisequestions about NCUA rules and procedures without leaving theiroffices.”

The webinar will offer updates on a range of subjects, includingbut not limited to credit union system performance, the NCUA'sRegulatory Modernization Initiative, efforts to provideregulatory relief, the forthcoming proposed rule on member businesslending, and cybersecurity and interest rate risks.

During the webinar, participants will be able to type inquestions and get answers about any topic relating to the NCUA.Participants also can submit advance questions at [email protected].The subject line of the email should read, “Matz Town HallWebinar.”

“Our goal in holding these webinars is to reduce potentialmisunderstandings and produce better policy outcomes, “Matz added.“I'm looking forward to an interactive conversation on topics whichcould include examinations, NCUA's budget development andregulatory relief.”
