Employees at the $652 million AMOCO Federal Credit Union, based in Texas City, Texas took time to honor veterans before the holiday.
They paid their respects to military veterans during a pre-Veterans Day celebration hosted by the American Legion Riders and Elks Club on Nov. 6.
The American Legion Riders escorted over two dozen wounded service members from the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio to Galveston Bay.

As police officers and state troopers led the way for the Veterans through Kemah and League City for a special ride, AMOCO staffers at the Tuscan Lakes branch waved signs and flags in salute.
This marks the fifth year that the American Legion Riders have made the 225-mile journey to accompany the wounded Veterans on their trip.
