Randi Zuckerberg, sister of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and the popular social media site's former director of market development, signed an agreement to speak at an Aug. 20 CO-OP Financial Services THINK It Out event.
Zuckerberg is currently the CEO of Menlo Park based Zuckerberg Media. She spoke at CO-OP's Think 14 conference in New Orleans in May of this year. Her speech in August will focus on insights into business innovation.
The payments CUSO said the one-day event in Ontario, Calif., would help increase the conference's impact on credit unions around the country. Attendance will be free to credit union employees, and CO-OP has planned similar events in Livonia, Mich., on Sept. 20; Washington. D.C., on Oct. 8; and, Pleasanton, Calif., on Nov. 5.
“Our 'Think It Out' events will focus on enhancing the member experience to attract new members, build loyalty and add revenue,” CO-OP CEO Stan Hollen said. “We will look at key trends and opportunities for credit union growth. Like our THINK conference, we will do so with a difference – by finding 'insight from the outside' with the help of fantastic featured speakers.”
The THINK It Out agenda will also include CO-OP subject matter experts speaking on how to attract younger members and new advances in financial technology, including mobile, EMV, branch transformation and member service, CO-OP said.
