The $320 million SafeAmerica Credit Union in Pleasanton, Calif.,plans to begin installation this summer of the KeyStone system fromCorelationInc., with testing planned for the fall and the debut in early2015, the company and credit union said in an announcementTuesday.

SafeAmerica cited the ability to use best-in-class third-partyapplications for key member interaction channels, such as mobilebanking, in its decision to convert.

Launched in 2009, the San Diego-based Corelation now has 26credit unions signed and 13 live on its system, the companysaid. SafeAmerica currently runs on the DataSafe platform fromFiserv Inc., according to data from Callahan & Associates.

San Diego-based Symitar, meanwhile, said it signed the $254million Eastern Credit Union Cooperative Society Ltd. to join themore than 170 credit unions that division of Jack Henry &Associates said now are using the CruiseNet core system.

Eastern Credit Union is the largest credit union in Trinidad andTobago and the largest to convert to CruiseNet, Jack Henry said inan announcement July 9. Eastern Credit Union cited operationalbenefits in its decision to convert from the Fiserv DNA platform,Jack Henry said.

Also, the $123 million Michigan Community Credit Union inJackson is making plans to convert to the Symitar Episys platformat the end of the month.

The 15,600-member Michigan Community said it would close fromJuly 31 at 3 p.m. through Aug. 4 to make the conversion from theFiserv XP2 system. The credit union alerted members through aseries of newsletter articles, social media messages andposters.
