The 10,100-member SterlingUnited cited automation and streamlining in its decision,according to Bradford-Scott, one of the four regionaldistributor-owners of Sharetec Systems of Lino Lakes, Ill.

Sterling United currently runs core software from Electronic Recordkeeping Services Inc. of Fishers, Ind.,according to data from Callahan & Associates.

There currently are about 300 credit unions running onSharetec.
