Credit union tellers will soon be able to send their members transactionreceipts to their mobile phones or email accounts.

Complete DataProducts, a Troy, Mich., firm that began in 1986 as a supplierof forms for receipts and marketing materials, announced a programthat will enable a teller to send members a receipt to their emailor as a text message to their mobile phone.

“We are 'coregnostic' in that we can work with whatever coreprocessor a credit union might be using,” explained Joel Abramson,director of business development for the firm, which has roughly500 credit union clients.

He added that the software also allows the teller to mask securedata that a member might not want on their mobile phones oremail.

“We have really tried to build security awareness in to everypart of our systems,” Abramson said.

CDP's product sends members a one-time PIN they use toauthenticate their phone number, and a secure web site where theymust register to view a decrypted email containing the receipt.
