For 16 years, the employees of the $147 million Electro Savings Credit Union in St. Louis have stood out in the cold to help raise money on Old Newsboys Day for children's organizations supported by the Old Newsboys Fund. This year, they raised $197 outside the Maryland Heights branch.
"We never have trouble getting employees to volunteer," said Laura Mugge, who coordinates the credit union's community development activities. "Employees that aren't able to volunteer still participate by donating to wear jeans."
