Staff from the $153 million, 14,800-member Helena Community Credit Union worked the registration booth recently, for the fourth straight year, at the annual fundraising walk for the National Alliance on Mental Illness in the Montana capital.

“I can't say enough about how much it helps us put the event on,” said Matt Kuntz, executive director of the NAMI Montana group. “Managing the finances can be very painful for people outside of the financial industry and their volunteer work makes the event run smoother.”

More than 2,000 people attended the recent NAMI Walk and raised a record amount of nearly $155,000.
