Core processing service bureau Member Driven Technologies said Wednesday it has purchased CUsource, a Montana-based provider of data processing, draft, print mail and security services.
MDT is based in suburban Detroit and said it now provides the Symitar Episys platform to 88 credit unions in 31 states.
CUsource, which has served credit unions in Montana, Kansas, Washington and Wyoming for 25 years, will now become MDT – Western Operations with CUsource President/CEO Shirley Bailey serving as its senior vice president and general manager, the CUSOs' announcement said.
Terms were not disclosed. The combined CUSOs will have five facilities: two in Montana and three in Michigan, including a recently opened data center.
"Our collection of considerable strengths – along with both companies' solid track record for delivering high-quality service to our clients – will serve us well as we move forward into the future," said Larry Nichols, MDT president/CEO.
In its 10 years, MDT has grown from seven credit union clients and five employees to more than 125 employees and 88 credit unions under contract, the company said.
