Enjoying croissants, pastries and lattés, the Louisiana CreditUnion League kicked off its version of a national small businesscash mob Tuesday morning.

The patronage was a part of the industry's CU Lunch Localcampaign, which has grown into an annual event spearheaded bycredit unions that venture out into the community to support localbusinesses and in turn, build potential business lending andservices relationships.

The Louisiana league said it will be lunching local all week.Staff enjoyed breakfast from Cafe' Latte Da in Harahan, La. Othershad lunch had at New Orleans Hamburger & Seafood Co.
