Schools in four Texas school districts have shared $340,000 from the 57,000-member, $764 million Texas Trust Credit Union since the launch of the credit union's Spirit Debit Rewards card.

The program began in August 2011. The school districts shared $225,000 from the card program from August 2012 to August 2013.

The 14 participating schools, two administrative offices and one educational foundation receive 15 cents every time someone swipes the affinity debit card. Cedar Hill High School, the highest earning individual school, received $47,856.81 from the program for the year period.
