The $317 million Belvoir Federal Credit Union recently helpedsponsor the first annual breastfeeding recognition ceremony withthe La Leche League at Fort Belvoir. The 25,900-member Woodbridge,Va., credit union contributed a $100 gift card and six cases ofwater to the effort, which recognized more than a dozen mothers whoexceeded their goal of exclusive breastfeeding for six months in aprogram sponsored at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital.

The ceremony also included presentation of a coin of recognitionto each of the mothers by special guest Robyn Roche-Paull, authorof “Breastfeeding in Combat Boots.”
