There is little more than a week to go before the Feds Feed Families food drive comes to an end, but the NCUA said it has already collected more than 8,000 pounds of food.

To date, the more than four tons of food that’s been collected by the NCUA for the annual food drive, has beat their 2012 donation of 2,079 pounds of food by a huge margin. The NCUA’s contribution will go to the Capital Area Food Bank.
