CUNA Mutual Group and the $2.4 billion Veridian Credit Unionannounced that they have teamed up to support a leadershipdevelopment initiative in Iowa schools by pledging a total of$105,000.
The funds will enable the Greater Cedar Valley Alliance &Chamber to expand The Leader in Me program, which has beenimplemented in about a dozen Iowa schools to help youth developvaluable skills that increase success in education and theworkplace, the organizations said last week.
CUNA Mutual Group in Cedar Valley, Iowa, through itsfoundation, committed $75,000 to sponsor implementation of TheLeader in Me at George Washington Carver Academy Middle School andKittrell Elementary, both in Waterloo, Iowa.
